Story of a scientist

Story of a Scientist

This a story of famous medical scientist who have made several important medical breakthroughs. He was interviewed by a newspaper who asked why he thought that he will be able to be more creative and explorative than an average person.
He responded that, this all came from an experience with his mother that occurred when he was 2 year old. He was trying to remove a bottle of milk from refrigerator. The bottle slipped due to its slippery surface, it fell spilling milk all over on the kitchen floor making a pool of milk. When his mother came into kitchen ispite of yelling or giving lecture or punishing him she told Robert what great wonderful you have made.  Ok the damage has already been done would like to play with it before we would clean it up?
Indeed, he did. After a few minute his mother said Robert you know whenever you make a mess like this you have to clean it up and restore everything to its proper order , so how would you to do that you would like to use a sponge, a towel or  a mop. He choose sponge and together they cleaned the milk.
His mother than said see that was a failed experiment “how to catch a big milk bottle without falling it with your two little tiny hands, so let us go to backyard fill the bottle with water and try to find the way”.
He then learnt that the bottle is grasped at the neck near the lid with the two hands it will not fall.
This renowned scientist remarked that at that moment I learnt that I should not be afraid of making mistake . Mistakes are opportunities for learning something new.
